India releases rules to allow bio-CNG vehicles

In India, the government has issued a notice with standards allowing the use of bio-CNG in road transport vehicles, a move which now allows manufacturers to build and sell bio-CNG cars in the country. The move follows loosening of biodiesel regulations to allow the fuel to be more widely retailed across the country while policies for ethanol and electric vehicles are also on the books.
