Indian UCO biodiesel program expanding to Indore

In India, the Times of India newspaper reports that the used cooking oil collection and biodiesel production program supported by the RUCO app is expanding to Indore where a biodiesel production facility will be set up. Restaurants will be paid 43 cents per liter for UCO that has a total polar compound higher than 25. The program’s aim is to get overly used cooking oil that is not fit for human consumption out of the food supply chain and into biodiesel.
