National Biodiesel Board sees Congress including biodiesel in tax extenders bill

In Washington, the National Biodiesel Board believes Congress may be of a mind to approve at least two-years worth of tax extenders legislation that would include a biodiesel producer tax incentive. The blenders credit would be eliminated as it is seen to promote foreign production rather than domestic. There is hope for a longer-term bill, however, thanks to the Senate finance committee chairman who is looking to a longer time horizon for the tax extenders legislation.
